Customer Service Representative

Employment Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Customer Service Manager
Location: Idaho Falls
Shift(s): Day

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service relations with all NCL customers to encourage a satisfactory experience with our company. This employee will be responsible for managing customer communications regarding the production schedule for PO’s and for managing regular updates regarding the progress of their orders. This person will acts as a liaison for all their customers with internal NCL departments as necessary, to manage new projects and on-going orders.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Establishes good customer service relations to maintain an excellent level of customer service for all NCL customers and respond appropriately to customer concerns.
  • High level of maturity and decision making abilities. Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Ability to handle customer concerns with production schedules, open orders and product questions and to make decisions regarding the scheduling of their orders in relation to the full production schedule.
  • Contacts customers to confirm receipt of orders and production dates I pricing/ etc. and enters customer order into system as needed.
  • Reviews production schedule to maintain accuracy and timeliness of production schedule and identify any potential production delays and communicates accurate production/ship dates to customers.
  • Work with other departments to maintain accurate production schedule and timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with other managers and departments to ensure the timely and accurate production of customer PO's.
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct threat to the individual or others.
  • Assist other departments with customer issues as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to make difficult decisions and manage difficult customer communications. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Experience in multiple requirements planning systems and /or similar environments. Communicate comfortably either verbally and/or in writing with customers.
  • Operate ten-key and PC programs i.e.: Process Pro and /or other similar inventory control/ receiving programs I Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to lift minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis. Work with minimum supervision.
  • Sit for long periods and climb stairs.
  • Communicate by telephone, email, in writing and/or in person.
